Key information about Tally Up

Tally Up is designed for self-employed individuals and freelancers such as Beauticians, Physical Trainers, Tradesmen and more.

Tally Up offers three plans: a free Isle of Man tax estimator, the Tax Pass at £9.99 per tax year for detailed breakdowns and scenarios, and Pro at £11.99 per month for income and expense tracking, quotes, invoicing, and AI tools. Early bird pricing is available. See our pricing page for details.

A free account gives you access to our basic Isle of Man tax estimator, which provides a headline estimate based on your annual income. For detailed band-by-band breakdowns, NI contributions, what-if scenarios, and PDF exports, upgrade to the Tax Pass or Pro plans.

The Tax Pass gives you the complete IoM tax estimate toolkit: detailed band-by-band breakdowns, NI, what-if scenarios, and PDF exports. Pro adds income and expense tracking on top: client and merchant management, invoicing, customer estimates and quotes, receipt capture, and AI-powered tools.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. When upgrading from Tax Pass to Pro, you'll get immediate access to all features. You can always downgrade or cancel if needed.

There's no free trial, but you can create a free account to use the Isle of Man tax estimator at no cost. Tax Pass and Pro can both be cancelled anytime, so there's no long-term commitment.

Yes. Your dashboard shows a running tax estimate based on what you've entered so far, and flags when you're likely to cross a threshold. It's an estimate based on your records to date, not a forecast of future earnings.
